After 30 years of being silent, Spalding reintroduced itself to the world with the True Believers campaign.

True believers is a movement, focused on the inner-confidence and belief within all athletes that drives them.

It's the work, put in each and every day, that fuels this confidence, as they earn your respect through every drill and every rep.

Campaign Year 1 - Results Recap

NICKNAME GENERATOR

Campaign launch also included the launch of the nickname generator.

The nickname generator allowed consumers to answer different questions
about their game, and receive one of over 500+ nicknames.

Consumers were then able to share their nickname via their
social channels for a chance to go to the NBA finals.

NICKNAME GENERATOR - VIDEOS

NBA Superstars Damian Lillard and DeMar DeRozan each had their own nickname generator video

 

DIGITAL TAKE OVERS 

The campaign launch also included digital takeovers of
Bleacher Report and NBA.com all promoting the new campaign
and directing consumers to the nickname generator.

MINIFESTOS

Spalding "minifestos" leveraged footage of DeMar and Damian along with campaign lines as unique content
to be shared by the brand as well as  the players via social their social channels.
